Black Adhesive vents

Black adhesive vents are a form of vent assembly with adhesive properties that are widely utilized in a number of devices to allow ventilation and airflow while maintaining the structure's seal. Black adhesive vents can be made of various materials and designs to fit a wide range of conditions and demands.

SR Black Adhesive vents can effectively protect the sealed enclosure from damage, repels water, oils, and other liquids and equalization internal and external pressure of sealed enclosure ,They are comprised of a ePTFE membrane and a pressure-sensitive adhesive ring for securing the vent to the device.

Black adhesive vents consist of a few tiny holes. Air vents created by pasting black sponge-like perforations on the body of an electrical product can ventilate the interior and lower cavity pressure. Its working idea is that the microscopic pores let hot air to escape, ensuring that the body's internal temperature remains stable. At the same time, it can allow air circulation to keep the inside of the gadget from becoming too humid, which helps to extend its life.

SR adhesive vents is a polymer microporous material. It allows air to pass freely, but it can also be waterproof, dustproof and oilproof.

 

 

-40°C to +120°C (when applied to component)

360 h at +120°C: - Slight reduction of airflow (5 %)

-Water tightness of adhesive sealing and membrane

Does not change (800 mbar / 30 sec)

 

This ePTFE membrane has poor roll-off properties, enabling liquid to clog the membrane and reduce airflow.

The SR ePTFE membrane has excellent roll-off properties. Liquid easily drains off the membrane, allowing continuous airflow.
