Pressure balance: When the device is running or the ambient temperature changes, the internal air will expand or contract. Breathable Vent Plug allows air to circulate inside and outside the device to balance the pressure. For example, when the car engine is working, the temperature rises, the internal air expands, and the breathable plug can discharge excess air; when cooling, it allows air to enter to prevent damage to the seal or deformation of the device due to pressure imbalance.
Waterproof and dustproof: It uses special materials and designs to allow air to pass through while effectively blocking water and dust. Common examples include waterproof and breathable membranes, which water molecules and dust particles cannot penetrate, while air molecules can enter and exit freely. For example, after using breathable plugs for outdoor lamps, rain and dust can be prevented from entering while maintaining stable internal air pressure, extending the service life of the lamps.
Prevent condensation: If the water vapor inside the device cannot be discharged, it is easy to condense into water droplets when the temperature drops, which may cause faults such as short circuits. The breathable plug can discharge humid air, introduce dry air, and reduce internal humidity. For example, when electronic equipment is used in an environment with a large temperature difference, the breathable plug can prevent internal damage due to condensation.
Gas emission: In some devices that generate gas, such as batteries and chemical reaction containers, vent plugs can discharge the generated gas in time to avoid gas accumulation causing safety problems or affecting equipment performance.
