Why does the waterproof breathable membrane have low transparency?

The reasons and solutions for the low transparency of the waterproof breathable membrane are as follows:

1. The extrusion temperature of the extruder is too low, resulting in poor plasticization of the resin. In view of this situation, the appropriate extrusion temperature can be set according to the functional characteristics of the resin and the actual production conditions in the production process to ensure the plasticization effect.

2. During the production process, the cooling effect is not obvious because the surface temperature of the steel roll is too high. For this reason, the amount of cooling water can be appropriately reduced, the surface temperature of the steel roll can be cooled, and the cooling effect can be improved.

3. The transparency of the substrate for the production of waterproof and breathable membranes is not high.

Waterproof and breathable filter membrane:

1. All geomembranes entering the construction site should be accompanied by a factory inspection report and factory certificate, and indicate the production date, batch number, standard and name.

2. For the same type, brand, and standard geomembrane, the sampling volume is 5 volumes, the sampling volume of 500-1000 volumes is 4 volumes, the sampling volume of 100-499 volumes is 3 volumes, and the sampling volume of less than 100 volumes is 2 volumes.

3. Check the standard and appearance quality of the waterproof breathable membrane.

4. Among the coils with qualified appearance quality, take geomembrane samples with a length of 1 m at the interval of 300 mm at the end of each coil, and send them to the physical function test.

5. The waterproof breathable membrane should be sampled together with the winding data. The sampling method is determined according to the share of the winding data. Regarding the same batch of asphalt that leaves the factory, 20t of asphalt of the same standard and grade is taken as the sampling unit, and the asphalt of less than 20t is taken as one sampling unit. Take 5 cleaning samples from different parts of each sampling unit, and the amount of each sample is about 1kg.

6. The composite geomembrane of the same standard, type and trademark shall be sampled and inspected in batches every 10t, and shall be sampled and inspected in batches less than 10t. Take 2 kilograms of samples, seal them, and send them for inspection by serial number.

7. In the two-component polyurethane, the 5T of the A component is a batch, and the less than 5T is also regarded as a batch; the B component is increased according to the product weight ratio. The total quantity of the batch A and B components is 2kg, and the number of sealed and submit for inspection.

8. Regarding a single product, 3,000 pieces of the same grade and type are counted as one batch, and less than 3,000 pieces are counted as one batch.

9. For two-component products, one ton of the same grade and the same type is inspected by batch, and less than 1 ton is inspected by batch; the B component is increased in batches according to the product weight ratio, and the sample is sealed and numbered and sent for inspection.
